Analog Input Module

Analog input modules of the Redul B200 series use an integrated analog-digital converter to convert analog signals from the field equipment into digital form. The digital data, received after the conversion process, is filtered and pre-processed in the module, and then transmitted to the CPU module. The modules provide protection from ground loops and power surges with the common galvanic isolation (up to 1,000 V).

The module is designed for input of four DC analog signals in the ranges 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA. The measuring channels are passive, i.e., power of analog circuits must be supplied from an external power source regardless of connection type.
